All our drivers wear protective masks and gloves and sanitise their hands before and after each delivery, and when entering and leaving our site.
When your order arrives our driver will place the box on the doorstep, ring the bell or knock on the door and then move back to a safe distance of at least 2 metres.
If there is no answer we will post a note through your door to inform you that we tried to deliver your order and will attempt re-delivery once.
You should then take in your own groceries and dispose of the box yourself. Our drivers cannot take back empty boxes. For your and our drivers’ protection please do not ask them to enter your property. The van cabs and handles are cleaned after each delivery session.
All our vans are refrigerated and all our drivers DBS checked.
Raynor Foods are currently only able to offer delivery to customer addresses in Chelmsford and the surrounding areas (all CM postcodes). This is a new service and we hope to expand our delivery area soon. To begin with we are only able to offer 50 deliveries a day. If they are unable to order through the website, NHS workers should contact us directly to arrange their delivery time.
Delivery is free on all orders over £40. For orders under £40 there is a £5 delivery charge.
Raynors use our own drivers, who will adhere to latest government advice in respect of safe delivery. Our drivers have also been cleared for contact with vulnerable people by the Government’s DBS scheme. They are equipped with gloves and masks and will leave your order on the doorstep, retire to a safe distance and wait for you to open the door and take in your order.
We will make deliveries Monday-Saturday. We aim to deliver five days after you place your order unless this would fall on a Sunday.
Unfortunately we are not able to offer timed delivery slots at the moment. If you are not there to take delivery we will attempt one re-delivery.
If we are unable to make a delivery on the original delivery date offered we will contact you via the contact details you provided when placing your order to arrange for an alternative delivery date.
